This morning it was very foggy, which is pretty rare for little old Adelaide and this was definitely the heaviest fog I have experienced thus far in my lifetime. So of course, I jumped for joy at the opportunity to capture a familiar environment and turn it into newfound pieces of art, and went out…Read More
Shadows here are plentiful and strange –
The dark has glowing eyes but no eyelids
(They never blink). Peculiar and estranged,
Here is a place where the monsters live.
There is a tree I used to climb
With sweeping walls of green,
Enclosing me in another world
That only I could see.
Nooks and crannies in the branches
Became shelves to hold my dreams.
Each bough, a room all of its own

They always seemed far more extraordinary and amazing in real life. But… here are some pictures I recently took of trees!…Read More
This is a series of film photographs of ragged and unruly nature landscapes as inspired by the photographer: Dave Rothschild. I have been intrigued by his work for quite some time now and decided when I finally loaded a black and white roll of film into my camera, to give it a go!Read More
My words are the leaves the trees grow,
I need them so I can bloom.
To stop writing is to leave me lost
Wilted, withered in the gloom.
I listen to the trees, they help me breathe,
Clear my head when it gets crowded.
They remind me the sky won’t always be blue
And my mind too, will sometimes be clouded.
This is a photo series of sorts, but I’m more going to simply call it a project. It’s an experiment, really, exploring a different style of photography that is slightly out of my comfort zone, creating self portraits of myself that are, as the name suggests, ‘not always whole’.Read More
