Sunday morning quiet – A poem

They surface in quiet moments. Starting small, with a spark,
with a glimpse into something else, a flash of mind,
like a blink going the other way, but they build in an exponential
crescendo and soon I’m stopping every minute to take my gloves off
and write something down because the thoughts just keep coming,
and by the time all the dishes are clean, the bubbles have all disappeared
and the water is only on the verge of being warm.

Moonbeams purple in windows and eyes, sweet lilac wonder sings above the sky. Hands bottle every dusty pleasure, forgotten timeless souls, imagination running wild, butterflies settle caught in their mind.

Photos of the Ocean

I recently went to the beach armed with my camera and tripod to try and capture the ocean in a different way, and here is a gallery of a couple of my favourite pictures! I took them using a long exposure so it really captured a beautiful movement and I love how the waves look like clouds. I’ll definitely be doing this again.
